Founder and Director, RJ Johnsen
Meet the Director
My name is RJ Johnsen and I want to thank you for considering Dynamic Kids. I know there are many options for parents when choosing camps and classes for their kids to attend. I started Dynamic Kids with the vision that all kids should have a place to learn the love of sport and exercise in a dynamic way that keeps them engaged and motivated while having fun.
I wanted a program that I would have liked to attend as a kid and where parents can send their children knowing that the staff and coaches understand that each child is their parents' most cherished valuable.
I have been a teacher and coach in DC, Maryland, Virginia, New York, and the Dominican Republic for the last 17 years. I understand the importance of motivation, enthusiasm, empathy, and being a good teammate. At Dynamic Kids, the way you play counts, both on and off the field. We stress that your effort on the field matters more than your talent. How you treat your teammates, opponents, officials, the grounds crew, the fans, and your family is more important than your stat line.
I personally guarantee all of our camps and classes. If you are not satisfied, we will give you your money back. If you have any questions or concerns, please email me at email@example.com or call me anytime at 202-557-4210.
Thank you and I look forward to seeing you on the field!

"I consider him a part of my family and an honored guest in my hometown of Consuelo."
We call him Pie Grande in Consuelo and he is one of the best Americans I have ever worked with. I like how RJ treats people, respects our culture and loves life. He is a true, honorary Dominicano! RJ has been a guest in my house for lunch and dinner many times and I consider him a part of my family and an honored guest in my hometown of Consuelo.
Coach Johnsen was a big help to me in high school and beyond. The big man as I call him - the big man was and continues to be a great coach and wonderful person. He cares deeply about his players both on and off the field.
I was able to go to the Dominican Republic with coach and saw first hand the impact he has had on the lives of those kids and how much he loves the community of Consuelo and how much they love him.
I know that he does a great job teaching both younger players to love the game and older players the fundamentals and skills to succeed at the next level.
